Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, yet access to culturally responsive care remains a challenge for many individuals and families. Since its establishment in 2001, Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation has been dedicated to addressing this gap by raising funds to strengthen and expand underfunded programs and services of the Hong Fook Mental Health Association. Through these efforts, the Foundation supports education, wellness, and prevention programs that promote mental health in the community, as well as initiatives that provide direct support to individuals living with mental health challenges.

Hong Fook is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of all communities, with a strong focus on culturally competent, community-based services. Funding from the Foundation enables programs that assist new immigrants and refugees in their adaptation journey, offer psychotherapy and recovery programs, provide family and youth support services, and foster volunteer development. These initiatives, grounded in understanding and compassion, empower individuals to build resilience, connect with others, and thrive.
